Title: “Self-care in the time of a pandemic-why it’s important (even an ethical responsibility) and harder than ever”

Presenter: Lisa McGovern, LCSW is a therapist in private practice. She has a passion for balance, self-care and healing and has presented on self-care as a part of ethics with Vince Parrish, LCSW for several years.

Program Description: In this presentation, we will review why self-care is an ethical obligation. We will discuss the challenges this specific time brings to self-care practices and explore ways to practice it anyway, even if a little differently. We will offer the opportunity to validate, connect and support one another as well as share resources.
