Experiential Therapy Group

Topic/Learning Objectives: These groups are for those who need emotional and spiritual recovery from anxiety or depression, grief and loss, perfectionism, trauma and abuse, unresolved shame, relationship issues, addiction or compulsive behaviors of any kind, and co-dependency.  Experiential small group work helps develop new skills that can change recurring patterns from unresolved emotional wounds.  It helps the individual move beyond defenses, access feelings and find an authentic voice in relationships.  Evening groups are co-ed and morning groups are all female.

Open or Closed Group: Six month contract for biweekly three- hour group.

Facilitator: Joan Furman, MSN, AHN-BC, CET II is a Clinical Experiential Therapist who has facilitated groups for over 25 years in Nashville and various treatment programs and hospitals nationally.

Meeting times/location/etc. Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 PM for co-ed groups.  Wednesday mornings from 8:30 to 11:30 AM for all women group.  Location: 5721 Knob Road, Nashville.
